Dualshock 3 + Minecraft

Works great, no problems so far! Got this to help my toddler nephew play Minecraft.

The Best on the App Store

Very pleased with this app. Works 100% as intended. Would recommend over any other similar apps. Using Razer Onza TE with tattiebogle Xbox 360 driver

Wired 360 Playing Valve games

This app with the tattiebogle drivers is what you want if you are using a 360 controller and are trying to play Valve games (or other FPS I imagine). Dont buy the other controller mapping apps, so far this is the only one that works as advertised.

Works as advertised

Using it on my Macbook Air 2011 running Mountain Lion. Ive tried countless programs to get my ps3 remote working with no sucess, this program is the ONLY one that works as far as Im concerned. Mapped out my controller perfectly, and via bluetooth wireless!! Got it to work on L4D2 with no problem. I highlyyyyy recommend this program, it is definitely worth every penny.

This is the absolute best app for joystick mapping out there

so quick and efficient, easy to use, ACTUALLY WORKS unlike half of the other mapping apps out there

Fantastic and much better than the confusing alternatives available for mac

Ive been looking for a good joystick mapper for the mac for some time, and this is it, others just dont cut it, free or pay, this is the one. Dont cheap out get this, $5 is a one trip to starbucks. Totally worth it to map out some of those games that dont, by default, support joysticks or gamepads. Very very very helpful :D

Works Perfectly with PS3 SixAxis on my MacBook Pro

I recently traded a friend for his old PS3 SixAxis controller and paired it with my MacBook. I tried all sorts of free alternatives, but none of them could do what I needed. Joystick Mapper works perfectly, and its much, /much/ more resonable than ControllerMate or other alternative that arent on the app store. Bottom line, if you have a game controller and need to use it on your Mac, Joystick Mapper if your best friend!

This works great!

This one was 100 times simpler than others and actually worked! Only two things I think it needs: 1. there should be an emergency keyboard button to shut it off. I accidentally unplugged my gamepad and it got stuck moving the mouse in one direction - had to do a reset; 2. more people using it to share joystick mappings.

WORKS

It was difficult to get my xbox controller to work until i relized you need to download tattiebogle xbox 360 driver from the internet. GREAT APP

WOW… the best gamepad mapper I

TL;DR Version, Theres plenty of apps like this, ranging between fully featured and very complex to very simple yet lacking in features. This one seems to hit the warm area in the middle where its easy for users to use but isnt completely useless, with issues that are so minor it doesnt take away from the experience, 5/5. I will be recommending this to all my mac gamer friends I know. Detailed Review, A few points I want to point out are that its simplicity it feels like an Apple UI, its clean and simple, straight to the point and doesnt overwhelm users with massive windows. However a issue I have is that if I can press the detect button to find what # the button on the controller is, why isnt there a button for the keyboard? this would be much nicer than going through a long list every time I want to bind a key. Grouping is amazing, I can have a set for Asphalt, Binding of Issac and many other games and not have them conflict. It even allows you to have different controller schemes for other joypads within those presets so that everything works nicely between controllers with different buttons as I set them up. The app detected multiple Joysticks I had lying around including my Xbox 360 controller, using the driver found on the internet. Overall the app works beyond my expectations and I feel its worth the $5 tag especially since Ive seen higher price on more complex solutions around the internet! **This part is just me nit-picking for features and suggestions, review is over. :)** Suggestions to the Author: - add support for holding buttons, ex. Racing games that involve holding an acceleration button youd just press once and then let go of the button and it would remain held. - Better support for Axis (including deadzone resrictions) would be nice too for making racing games turn really smoothly while moving the joystick. - A button to detect Keyboard presses like you can to detect Controller button presses. - Binding to Applications and Notifications: When an application opens, this app will detect if the default controller is plugged in and run the controls and show a notification center pop up saying the controls are enabled and which device its using with controls.

great works perfectly

Works fine exept every time I turn my computer off and turn it bad on the mouse drags to the top conner

Works well so far…

Played some 2D sidescroller as well as FPS. It works. Theres no analog controls but thats expected. I mean youre pressing a key on a keyboard… Its either on or off, theres no in-between. Im satisfied !!

It just works perfect.

I bought this in the hopes of using it for Minecraft. Im happy to report it works perfectly. What a great piece of software. My only suggestion, maybe have the ability to have set profiles for common Mac / Steam games. It would be great to pick the game Im about to play & not worry about setting up a new pre-set.

Works Amazing

Works amazing. Is the best program i have found for mapping my ps3 controller to the Mac.

Perfect

If you want to use your ps3 controller on your mac this app is want you want. Its fun and easy to use and a great price. My vote for best app

Yes, Minecraft

If, like me, youre looking for a way to map the XBox 360 controller for Minecraft, you found it. Click "buy"! Works great with the tattiebogle XBox 360 driver. It could use some small tweaks but for now it just works. One tip on his FAQ page: if you want key combos, just map the same button to multiple keys. I wouldnt have guessed that… :)

Good app, works great.

Great app, it does what it needs to. A PS4 controller full support would be cool though. It works, but only when hardwired to the mac. Things it could need too : - a scan feature for keyboard’s keys instead of a list. - a better/easier way to share/install presets. - I would like to see my controller without buying another app ( Joystick show ). Why is it another app, seriously ? Thanks a lot to the developer anyway, great job.

Does exactly what it says

I have a generic USB joystick that isn’t supported by mac. Joystick Mapper allows me to use it with OpenEmu with the bonus of being able to switch configurations when switching consoles. Perfect!

One really big bug!!

There is one bug that ruined the app for me. I would have given the app 5 stars if the bug didn’t exist. Everytime my cable accidentky gets unplugged the cursor moves to the top left and I have no mpre control over the cursor. This restults in sometimes having to shut down the computer or quit the app. This really annoying and I hope you guys can fix it.

This app doesnt work with NES USB controllers…unless Im doing something wrong…tried to ask the creators…but have to register to ask them questions. Not worth the money!
